Fender Rumble Club

There have been a lot of combo amps with a single 15 over the years. I have played through and owned many. Some are highly sought after vintage amps still today. I really think the Rumble 200 has all of the ones I've played through beat. I agree that you just don't "feel" some other amps. I will never forget the first time I used my Rumble 200 in a club where no one ever danced. I know it was the "Feel of the Rumble" that got them up and dancing between the chairs. There was no dance floor. 15s are my favorite still today. If you like 15s, the 200 really does the job. Way better than "_____"!!!;)

The GB Streamliner 900 will certainly get LOUD! ! But it's baked in pillowy / bassy tone was what I couldn't come to grips with. Ppl said its like an all tube amp, but that wasn't my view.
I've used all tube amps all my life & it wasn't like any I've used. Each to his own of course.
I'm with ya! I've owned a Silverfaced Bassman 100 + 2x15 JBL D-140 loaded cab; a Bassman Ten, and finally a 1979 Studio Bass that carried me through the 1980's without a hitch. Numerous gigs and bar bands plus all original bands and studio sessions. A rather large 'lifequake' forced the sale almost everything I owned. I was able to hold onto my beloved '76 Precision. My drummer and best friend bought the Studio Bass and still owns it to this day. I rock Rumbles because they are good and affordable. They can sound as close to an all tube Bassman 100 as any solid state amp ever has. They may very well be the most reliable amp on the market today and they have a very solid history. Only a very few people have had any problems. Most of them small.

Try cranking up the gain and use the vintage setting,. Then dime the drive and you can set the level to as low as 8 o'clock.
Dunno, works for me.

Thanks for the tip.

It's not as though it's a function I'll be using that much, though, but things that don't work properly bug me. Also, as @Linnin pointed out, if left alone a fault like that might cause other problems down the line. So I've shipped the amp off to the store I've bought it from, and they've confirmed my suspicions - the overdrive on the amp isn't working properly. They've ordered a new one in, so I'll be taking delivery of a brand, spanking new Rumble 100 in a couple of weeks' time.

You most surely can! 112; 115, 210, or 410. The 112 and 210 have a footprint that matches up perfectly with the 200 and 500 combos, while the 115 and 410 are larger. Just go to the source, and look up all the specs. Invalid Link Removed Use any head you'd like. Fender Rumble 200 and 500 heads are also available. The new Fender Bassman 500 head would also be a killer choice. Enjoy!

Thank you!!!!

I could get a good deal on an Eminence Deltalite II 2512 speaker so decided to bite the bullet and check how much of an improvement that is for my Rumble V3 100.
Can still return it if I don't like it, I'll post my findings.
Brilliant! Intelligent Tinkering is exactly what Leo Fender did that made his company world famous. Modifications that don't work out are just as important as the ones that do! And by all means do  Rumble On!
