Yes, when you turn up your amp, the DI also turns up. Then the soundman does his job if he is listening. It wouldn't be a problem unless you are constantly changing your volume on stage. I have used the DI to a very large PA at an outdoor event. It was perfect. Amazed how good it sounded. That is my totally biased opinion, by the way. I love my Rumbles! My Rumble 200 filled acres thanks to the DI. I have never heard anyone say the DI is unusable; at least not anyone who had actually used it themselves.Hey all, I'm pretty close to pulling the trigger on the 500 combo with the 1x15 configuration, but I've heard some concerns about the DI of the amp being behind the volume, and for some folks that makes this amp unusable.
All my gigs have PA support and are medium sized venues with a mixture of indoor and outdoor shows. In the past I've always either gone out through my amp DI, which has always been fixed, or through an EDEN WT DI box. Should I be concerned about the DI on this amp? I know this thread is probably not the place for an unbiased opinion, but I'd like to hear what some others with a similar configuration and gigging situation have experienced. (Sorry..I didn't comb through all 350 plus pages of this thread to look for previous thoughts).
Thanks.
