Fender Rumble Club

I have been running my 500 head with 410 for over a year now. V3

For the money, it's a great setup. Small head with tons of headroom and adjustability.

The 410 is adequate for what we play. I would be curious about just hooking the head to other 410's and compare with the 500 head

Even if there are better sounding cabs, it works pretty darn well for a $700 rig on sale.

Rumble gig report:

My band played a small club last night, and received positive comments on my rig. I used my 500 combo with the 210 extension cab, picking my Geddy Lee Jazz for the bass duties last night. The stage was about 10 inches tall, sturdy with carpeting. Never had the volume above 10 o'clock, and have the volume on my bass down as well. The reason for that was overall band level needed to be kept low.

Anyways, was going to update the Tone Pool but it's kinda gooched right now. Some of the columns are missing. Not sure when that happened but that's a huge bummer :rollno:

Here are the settings I used last night:

Gain - 11 o'clock
Vintage - ON
Drive - 11 o'clock
Overdrive - ON
Level - 10 o'clock
Bass - Noon
Low Mid - 1 o'clock
High Mid - 1 o'clock
Treble - 1 o'clock
Master - 9-10 o'clock

Tweeters were off.

I haven't been there in a while, so when I took a look it was very disheartening. If someone messed it up by accident, they should say so. However if it is an act of sabotage, that's a low blow.

I'm hoping it was just a mistake. There are several revisions since I made the last entry on 10/25, all from the past 6-7 days. I just reverted the spreadsheet to the 10/25 version and it's all good now.

+1 on settings, and w/in 1 on our EQs (except I like horns "On"). :D Nice report!

Cheers,

Just got my 40v3 over the weekend, along with my Standard Jazz...

Has anyone used a Zoom B3 through a rumble?
Oh yes! I own one and so do many more Rumblers. I use it for the effects and run it in the effects loop. You can also use it as a pre-amp and just plug it into the effects return. Or use it like a stompbox between bass and amp. I've found the ZOOM B3 to be a very versatile unit that is extremely quiet in operation.
