Fender Rumble Club

I am an idjit. I can't seem to locate the info on modding the 200c output jacks so as to use it as a cab only once in a while with the Ashdown amp instead of the Rumble. Just for versatility, not a game changer.

I assume it involves a TRS jack.

Here's a link to ''The eric_b mod'' of a Rumble 100 combo, if that's what you're referring to:

Modify a Fender Rumber to Act as a Amplifier, Cabinet, or Combo
I'm getting a fanbase over here :D

No, I just double checked my R500c: both the internal and external speaker are getting output at the same time, also when you connect a dummy jack to the headphones output. So your factory R200 will have no way to switch on/off the internal speaker at your desire.
The only way, as far as I know, is to use my R100c mod (with an external jumper cable and leave it unconnected) or install a switch between the amp and internal speaker to switch it on or off. Not a difficult mod.

I think I have to agree with Linnin. I've always used a SansAmp. Not sure why-just always have. I left it at home last gig by mistake and thought I'd have to "improvise". Turned the gain up to noon on my 500 head/210 cab; vintage on; bass around 10:00; mids around 1:00; high at noon; horn-off; and never looked back.

Anyone want a used SansAmp? ;)
I had a sans-amp as well... had being the key word. Once I had my v3 200 combo I found out quickly I preferred to play without it. No looking back, Rumble on!

Since buying my Rumble 500 2x10 and Rumble 1x15 (not on every gig), I have never adjusted the settings.....not once. Everything at noon and maybe a little less gain depending on the room. All three buttons in and zero overdrive because I hate distortion.
I've got roughly 85+ gigs in them so far since December 2015. The rest of this year is booked solid between my two bands. No complaints on tone and even the front of house loves them. So far I've babied them to death because I can't think of having this much love for another rig.
I may buy a new bass every 6-8 weeks but I'll probably never buy another rig ever again.

Hell, these Rumbles can even make a Precision sound good on it's own.
Might ruffles some feathers on that but even they know what I mean.

Wow...85+ gigs? It is great to hear that you are so pleased and that is cool that you hardly have to tweak things at all.

A great review!

I had a SansAmp when I was playing an Ampeg B1R. I originally intended to keep it and trade the Ampeg and the 2 cabs I had on the Rumble. After trying the Rumble, I added the SansAmp to the deal.
