Don't forget the XLR outHello Linnin
I do agree, but I'm looking for something easy to carry around and the 112 cabinet alone is 14 kgs so heavier than a 100v3, nearly the same weight than a 200v3 with a 15" speaker (15 kgs) and this is too heavy especially if I have to carry a separate head ( I have a MarkBass LM3 and a 102P cab that are more or less the same weight)
I think I'll likely stick with a 100v3.. and we'll see...
If the addition works, in case of need, a second 100v3 is the same price and lighter than a 112 cab alone.. so... maybe it's the good solution.
I was asking this question at first, because in my (ok limited..) experience, cabs are more important than raw power figure when it comes to perceived overall sound volume.

Excuse me, bit what is Bongo? The gain low and master up on my Bongo sounds very good on the 500 combo....
That would be me. Welcome Rumbler #761. Proud to have you among us. Rumble on!View attachment 1125501 @Gravedigger Dav check out what I just brought home. Who do I talk to about a number?
I'm 5'8" and I don't have a problem with it.I'm 6' 2", so that's not an issue for me.
It will be plenty. I use my 100 for band practice. Bass, guitar and drums. It is plenty for that. I've even used it on gigs where we had full FOH support as a stage monitor. That works well.I have messed with the knobs extensively on my 100 v3, so I know I can bring out the mids, but it's just been at home. Soon I'll try it for an acoustic/electric gig to get an idea, but that's just with the 100, and no drums, so... More comments welcome.
OK, finally got my Rumble out to a gig, so I've got some videos to demo my Rumble tone on an outdoor gig. 500c on top of the 15" cab, running the line out to the board for some PA support. Volume was barely at 10 o'clock and had no problem being heard. Here's two videos - Surrender, and then Sunshine of Your Love for which I used the drive channel. I continue to love this rig.....
Love that tone! Is that a standard J you're playing? Can't tell from the video. Share your EQ on that. That is some serious Fender growl. Also, keep me up to date on your gigs. I'd like to come here your band.
I love the Bright switch on those amps, sounds great with the Vintage. I'll try that later, thanks. Thanks! The bass is an MIM Precision Deluxe - PJ pickups, J neck - the run they did in Seafoam Pearl. I adore that bass.
EQ is bass at 10 o'clock, low mids at noon, high mids at 2, and treble at 1. Bright switch and vintage are both engaged. For the drive, both drive and level are at 11 o'clock.
As for our gigs, it might be a bit of a drive for you, we're in Northern KY - aren't you in Texas?
Ah-Ha! I knew your modification was to use your Rumble 100 as an extension speaker for a different amp, but didn't realize it could also be used as an powered extension speaker output. Good deal.Check my signature: I did a mod which makes this possible. Keep in mind though what Linnin said though about the warranty and that the amp of the 100 V3 was not designed for a 4 Ohm load. Nonetheless I tried it with my 210 cab and it worked perfectly (although I kept the volume low).
Yes, for some reason I thought you were close by. Thanks for the info. Thanks! The bass is an MIM Precision Deluxe - PJ pickups, J neck - the run they did in Seafoam Pearl. I adore that bass.

Yeah, the mod gives a lot of flexibility. Also, because I upgraded the stock speaker for the Deltalite II 2512, it can handle 250 RMS so you could connect a more powerful amp and still have that 12" speaker soundAh-Ha! It's that blue beard of @Aahzz that makes him look like a Texican.Yes, for some reason I thought you were close by. Thanks for the info.
