Dignified, yes, but it doesn't say Fender any where on it. I'm sure you can do better than this.I am planning a military funeral for myself and I've been casket shopping! I think I like this one best. $2000 What do you think? Dignified, right?

As well you should be. It is every bit as good as, or better than any other 500 watt amp costing two or three times more. Buy one and join the club.Very impressed with the Rumble 500 head

Very impressed with the Rumble 500 head
I have been out of the loop for awhile, not playing bass as much. I have heard great things about this line and I was at GC today and they had some.
Wow. I couldn't get a bad tone out of the thing. From vintage to hard rock, jazz to slap scoop, it could do it all...tastefully. The overdrive even changed with the different character switches, and wasn't just fizzy blah that many of the built in units sound like to me. I have been looking to play with a few people lately...think I might add a Rumble 500 to my wish list.
For sake of the other side, are there anythings you don't like about it? I know it lacks Speakon and Pre EQ DI. I was originally shying away from class D micros, but its hard to pass up these little packages. There are so many great products out today, so hard to pick just one. If you had to choose something in the $3-500 range, what are some other options? I have played most major brands. Tried the TC BH250 and preferred the tone shaping flexibility of the rumble. GK is nice. Ampeg is easy. I don't have money for Mesa, but the Subway is awesome along with the Carbines. Carvin is okay, and Markbass sounds good too. The acoustic 300d was there and for the money was very impressive. Was not a fan of the EQ section, although I can appreciate clear designated EQ points.
They're actually better than that. The Rumble cabs are very good in sound, weight and quality.

Neither of those bother me at all. First, I gigged for over 50 years before I even knew about speakon connectors. My experience with them is they are a PIA. If you need Pre EQ DI, get an inexpensive DI box and split your signal. I have yet to find a sound man that objected to an EQed feed. YMMVPosting a previous thread here:

Now that's more like itOne more thing, the power handling capability on the 210 cabs is Respectable to say the least.
I have the same bass...lightweight 2 piece body and great neck feel. Only mods I did was the Fender Orig 62 p-ups, Gotoh standard bridge and Black pickguard to maintain the "70's vibe". Its my #1, these are fantastic basses.

Looks a little narrow at the nut for a P, illusion??The black guard does look nice !
I dig the neck on mine as well. The p/ups on mine are way too high. I'll be adjusting them here in a few.
Not sure how much mine weighs but it's on the light side as P basses go.
These have all the true Fender mojo you can get as if they were actually hand wound in the original Fender factory.Fender Orig 62 p-ups
Yes, very light. Couple things on mine that you may want to note:1) Whomever put the bridge on over tightened it and it depressed somewhat into the wood(prob due to the nitro finish). 2) The saddles in original cheap MIM bridge fell out and the bridge sort of self destructed. The Gotoh standard is very affordable, fits the retro look and is not to high mass for the lightweight body. The black guard does look nice !

yeah, I noticed that straight away. Also not properly angled to the radius of the neck. The sweet spot is further down than many think. Your ears will tell you where. The p/ups on mine are way too high. I'll be adjusting them here in a few.
Yes, great pickups, especially given the price..they have a super ganky, grindy tone, really works well with the Rumble...balance each other perfectly. These have all the true Fender mojo you can get as if they were actually hand wound in the original Fender factory.
as if they were made for each otherworks well with the Rumble...balance each other perfectly.
