Fender Rumble LT25, Studio 40 & Stage 800

Well, of course, they'll fit, OK. But, I wouldn't expect any of them to support stereo signals, if that's what you're asking. The jacks are labeled as if they are each just mono left & right only.

Is there a specific situation you're interested in?
.
Yea It was just to see if they accepted TRS..In any case I just got a Trs to Dual Ts splitter cable and that works..I just bought the Red Panda Raster V2 Delay pedal...It only has one TRS input, one output TRS compatible jacks...I want to have stereo with it so the cable is very adaquate....

Is there a known issue with the footswitch on the Rumble’s?

I’ve stopped using mine with my Stage 800, I can have the footswitch set on one of my selected 3 presets and if I select one of the other presets it sometimes just locks up or it goes straight to channel 200 for some reason and then locks up? I have ended up having to quickly change the channel manually on the amp.

I think I may have read somewhere about other guys having problems, if so is there a solution or maybe a software update to cure it?

Which switch are you using?

Question about the Studio 40...

I have the Rumble 40 (the regular v3) one, and I really like the bright/contour/vintage buttons on it, as those 3 tones alone cover pretty much every sound I need to play (at my level, anyway).

I’m eyeing a great price for the Studio 40. I lose those buttons but I figure I can replicate them with presets (and bonus, switch between them with the GTX-7 footswitch??). So my question is, is there a way or preset in the Studio 40 to sound just like the v3 and those 3 tones?? I think I saw a "amp" which is the Rumble v3 series, but hopefully I can find some instruction on tweaking it to sound like the bright/vintage/contour tones...

Thanks in advance.

I don't have my Studio 40 at home with me right now, but on my Stage 800, there are options to turn on the Bright/Contour/Vintage "buttons" within the Rumble V3 amp setting. If you were to save the changes that you like under a custom preset, yes you can select them fairly easily with at GTX-7 footswitch. I'm confident the Studio 40 has the same settings.

Edit: The Rumble V3 amp model is called "Clean Focus". Preset #8.

Thanks!! I'll definitely give this a try when I get home. Oh, I ended up buying that Studio 40 so assuming everything works well (still haven't tried it out, and it's second hand) I'll most likely return the Rumble 40.

Yes, the Stage 800 and Studio 40 have the exact same modeling pre-amp and even share the same manual! Check out the Stage & Studio Links section of your Rumble Club Wiki page, the repository of all Rumbling wisdom and knowledge.

Also, see the TONE APP Support section, especially the Presets Decoder Files, by Rumbler Droopy_TX, to see the level of detail that you can use.

Heh, if only my wallet weren't empty!

I just played around with the Studio 40 last night and it's great. And as RL5 pointed out, there indeed are the bright/contour/vintage "buttons" (though it took a while to find!). So that said, is there anything you think the Rumble 40 can do that the Studio 40 can't?

Hmmm, ... ... well, ... there are thousands of things the Studio 40 can do that the regular 40 can't. ;)

But, vicey-versa? I can't think of a thing. Anyone else? :wideyed:

Yep, hence double the MSRP price tag.

But somehow I managed to snag the Studio 40 used for less than I bought the Rumble 40 for (also used but from a store). So I think I'll just return the Rumble 40 and call it a day. Only issue is I have a funky smell on the Studio 40 I need to get rid of :cigar:

I have had my Rimble 800 for about 4 years. All and all I am very happy. I use preset 8 most of the time at gigs.. I always get compliments on my tone. I play a passive P bass. A Few grips... the foot pedal is not very responsive. I tried it for a few gigs and gave up. I am going to try and go through the 84 pages here and see what everyone else says. I gig a lot, I did get a Tuki to protect the amp and it does it's job. But I do have a bit of a grip. The hardware... The handle ripped out... (they should have put side handles like you see on a PA speaker) The bottom corners and feet have come off. Other than that.. the amp was a great deal when I got it. I noticed it has gone up $100 since than.

Wow, Troy! Sounds like you've really put your Rumble Stage through the ringer after getting it as soon as announced! My now-8-year-old Rumble 500 combo is still in great shape structurally, but I admit I haven't moved it around too much, especially the last few years.

And my just-3-year-old Rumble Studio seems to respond well to its footswitch. But, again, it doesn't get frequent, or hard, use, either.

Troy, we'd love to have you join the Fender Rumble Club just by posting something about your Rumble(s) there. ;)
