Amazon has this new Vintera Jazz for $587. Seems like a good price? Was tempted but just bought a new bass. Thought I'd pass it along

The '70s version is as low as I've seen it too.

It's extremely tempting, I wonder if they'll knock it down to the '60s price eventually?

I'm tempted. I have a G&L JB Tribute with super bright stainless steel rounds and Sire V5 (J bass) Fretless with EB Cobalt Flats. Would love to get the Vintera to round out my J collection and slap some EB Cobalt Flats on it.

The firemist gold color looks amazing... plus I'm a big fan of roasted maple necks.

Like maybe even buy it and flip it on Reverb for $850 (to undercut all the new ones at around $1100) and pocket the cash.

Regarding the Amazon Fender Vintera.

Yeah, the gold one is $587, but the sunburst (the one I liked) is at $839.
Whew! Thank goodness. Was feeling a serious case of GAS coming on.
Stopped me in mid scheme. Not keen on the gold top.

I can see where it gets confusing. The link the OP provided takes you to the gold top and it shows $587, but when you only "highlight" the sunburst icon, the price stays at $587. Once you "click it", voila! There's the $839.
