I'm hoping these prices are for new, unopened models and not demo or open-box. I also happened to find a regular Player series Jazz in sunburst for under $500 before tax. Too good to be true? No clue.

I literally just bought a used Vintera Sea Foam P bass last week! No matter. I must have a Dakota Red one at this price! I love Talkbass! I hate Talkbass!

If I could be assured of under 8.5 lbs and I'd buy one and then put on lightweight tuners.
I saw that, too! Damn tempting, but I already sold a '70s-era Sunburst body here on TB...only to use it's proceeds to buy a '70s-era Vintera I Jazz neck from another TB ad! If I hadn't made that purchase, I might've pounced on the Inca Silver '70s Jazz, then decide whether to keep it or part it out and sell the body!Crap...

Funny. I looked at this 4 hours ago. Contemplated, as I don't have a GOLD bass. HMMMMMMMMMMM... Tempting. There were 11 left.

I ordered one of the Dakota Red Ps last night. 8 were left after I clicked ‘order now’; 1 left as of 5:25a ET 12/6.
While I’ll wait to see it in person… I’m not a fan of the gold pg. A quick web search didn’t turn up many 10-hole options… for those that have replaced a Vintera 50s pg, where’d you get it! TIA.
