I'm kinda rooting for Argentina to go all the way only because for that to happen I know Messi would have to carry them every game. Meaning he would have a legendary showing this tournament and I can say I witnessed all of it. Unfortunately Argentina without Messi just isn't that good so I don't think it'll happen.

I'm tired of European teams, Brazil, and Argentina. One of 'em will probably win the tournament, but I would rather see Costa Rica, or Algeria, or USA, or whoever. Just not Germany, France, Netherlands, etc.

This tournament is wide open, so we could see a first time winner (or finalist at least). Holland are the best football nation that haven't won the WC, so I wouldn't mind seeing them win, but I'd love to see Costa Rica, Columbia, Belgium or the U.S at least make the final.

It hasn't worked though - their other forwards have been hopeless. I don't know why a coach wouldn't include an experienced player like Tevez, a proven goal scorer and a hell of a workhorse as well. Higuain might be younger, but Tevez would still run circles around him.

Out of interest, has there ever been a Superbowl outside of the US proper?

There have been a few exhibition games, but I just don't think there'd be the massive draw for it in London. The spectacle, sure, but not at the prices Superbowl tickets seem to generate in the US.

Bar a few short breaks, the US hasn't been looking dangerous. Defending really well though given that Belgium are camping out in their half!

Great game for the US so far. I was fully expecting Belgium to be two or three up by half time. The US could pull off the shock result of the whole tournament here.

The red devils did a pretty good play in this first part, getting more and more dangerous. The ref on the other hand is very bad, anyone think some us player are way too harsh? Our little Dries will not finish the match if you break him!
