Anyway, onwards and upwards, we have a potentially interesting situation kicking off shortly in Group F. If Iran were to win 1-0 and Nigeria lose to the Argies 1-0, then Iran and Nigeria would be exactly equal in terms of points, GD and goals scored. And they drew their group game against each other, which means progression to the round of 16 would be decided by drawing lots, I think? First time ever? Let's hope it doesn't come to that.
Back in the day, it wouldn't have stood, the likes of Roy Keane, Bryan Robson or Big Dunc(as Titus could tell you about in far greater detail than I), would have destroyed the likes of Suarez if he tried to freaking bite them, or a team mate. I guess in way one of their roles on a football pitch was similar to an ice hockey teams "enforcer".
Darth knows a little bit about DF. I may have mentioned him once or twice.
I would have loved to see him sort Suarez out.
Rare occurrence.UNBELIEVABLE start to Nigeria Argentina game!
Good, good, mayhap there's a chance for him yet.Darth knows a little bit about DF. I may have mentioned him once or twice.

One final piece of western propaganda.
best match of the tournament so far that i've watched.Superb start to second half, too.
Gigi Buffon said it rightly:
"Abbiamo avuto un buon inizio, abbiamo generato grandi aspettative dopo la prima vittoria contro l'Inghilterra, ma abbiamo incontrato la dura realtà:. Nessuna unirsi punti nelle ultime due partite e sono stati eliminati nella giustizia"
Buffon ha detto che l'arbitrato non aveva nulla a che fare con il risultato: "Oggi non ci ha dato una mano, ma non sempre si può incolpare gli altri,"
We had a good start, we had generated great expectations after the first win against England, but we ran into the harsh reality: no join points in the last two games and were eliminated in righteousness."
Buffon said that the referee had nothing to do with the outcome: "Today did not give us a hand, but can not always blame others," he said.
What is he saying? I can say it in two words: "Man up".
Interesting coming from the keeper of the Old Lady of Turin, a team that was demoted to Serie B for fixing games and buying referees.
Why can´t the press write about other Uruguayan players and how great they have been playing? Why can´t the press write something about the great World Cup Costa Rica is having? Obviously, they don´t sell papers, so that won´t happen.
Is it wrong for me to wish that Chiellini should've elbowed that piece of garbage Suarez right in his buck teeth?
