France are the favorites, Argentina are defending champs. Argentina would have easier path with France out. Corruption has already reared its ugly head in the tournament. All Argentinian ref lineup is highly unusual to say the least.
Finally not: referee was a good one, very precise on additional time and ball position for set piece, corners or penalty. But it's much better than the blind one we had versus Paraguay.

I do think the semi-final Tuesday between Spain & France is the de facto finals. Either of them could beat either England or Argentina, IMHO.

I'm still following. To me, the England/Mexico match was the best so far. I don't have a horse in the race, so to speak, but I'll continue to generally follow and may sit down and watch another match or two start to finish, depending.

Still planning on watching the semis and finals. As I see it the legit best four teams are left after an excellent buildup, and I’m all in on seeing how it plays out. I was rooting hard for Norway and Switzerland, but so it goes.
It's the final 4. Of course we're all in still (at our house).
