I've been working here and there for the last few weeks but haven't had a lot of time to photograph. So here's an update of where the whole thing is at. The fingerboard still isn't glued on yet, nor is the neck glued in to the pocket.

I'm really liking this one. You gonna fill those holes?
amazing shape, top, and fb wood. btw, wierd you get that sweet bloodwood?
Looking great Paul, gives me a little more inspiration for the maple burl topped scroll I'm starting this week!
what did you use to fill the holes? i love the look of it.
i agree. will the filler keep that funky blue-green color, or match? i hope they keep the sweet color. it has good contrast. i love this build
Me too, great work Paul !!! I can tell by the pics that you are a very organized person. Keep it up, I cant wait to see more progress. Peace

I can't dig the shape hard as I try - the whole scrolly thing on a big horn just has always rubbed me the wrong way, but the woods and the craftsmanship on this one are looking really really amazing.Nice work!
if the lower horn was like that of a spector rebop. I would totally get one off you.
it looks amazing!
Is that for aesthetic reasons, or because the lower horn on the Spector would give more access to the upper frets?
I just think that it would make this bass 100% awsome (to me).
But looking at this thread again, the lower horn kind of grows on you.
