I have a feeling my Sweetwater rep is getting a call when I get off the road next month! I'd prefer to "try before I buy", but I may take the risk with this one.

Tempting, yet my advice is be very careful. I plan to put up a thread describing my nightmare with Hello Music. I made two trouble-free purchases including a nice tube amp. Then on the third go-round, I learned firsthand what they mean on their website when they say "we may provide customer service at our sole discretion" or words to that effect. They go radio silent for days at a time. So it can get dicey if they don't ship as expected, if you try to cancel, or if you want to do a return.

Got myself a UK made Little Bastard on the way since I'm not doing a lot of gigging at the moment.
If I get a bit more shows to play and the LB is satisfying, I might have a look at the CTM 100.

As to the people in the USA saying they're in the same price range as a Bassman 100 T,
Here in Europe, the Bassman costs €600 more!

I guess that's our revenge for having to over-pay on Fender products here in Europe.

I tried! Ashdown was at Summer NAMM, so I figured I would get a chance to try the CTM-15. Well, I saw one anyways! Lol...

First day I didn't see the CTM-15 & asked the guy working the booth if he knew anything about it. "Yeah, man- but I left it in the car. Will you.be back tomorrow?" Well, I hadn't planned on it, but I told him I would love to try the amp outnso I would come back.

Day 2 the amp was there, but no power cables or speaker cable & the rep was nowhere to be found for about an hour. I probably nshould have just helped myself to a speaker cable and iec cable, but really didn't want to be so presumptuous. Went back to the booth over the course of 2 hours & booth dude was honesty too busy with vendors/shooting video for a related/shared guitar amp range.

So, I saw it but never got a chance to light it up. Bummed. It looked solid, heavy for its size (in a good way) and the lots all felt good and firm. Oh well,.. still keeping an eye out for one in my travels.

Shipment of the CTM 15's have very recently reached US shores, so they should be properly making their way to Ashdown dealers.

So what's up with Little Bastard vs. CTM30? Same amp with a name change or are they different?

Also what is real LB weight...seen everything from 20 pounds to 45 pounds listed :scowl:

CTM15 is tempting but not sure 15 watts would be enough, 30 definitely would be.

Input impedance on these babies? Ashdown does not spec it and I require 1Mohm or more for my URB pickups.

My CTM-15 shipped from Sweetwater yesterday!- I will post a full review once I get it and break it in.

I intend to use it at home, and for giggles try it at a band practice (with my GB SL 900) on hand as a backup. I can finally experience Tube vs. Hybrid, vs SOlid State and see if the TUbe mojo will blow me away as many say it will on these boards, or not...
