Not better, different. Tour 700 has been around for years. Big, heavy, solid kind of amp. One is not better unless you like it better. Cost is a separate issue. I wouldn't buy a big rack amp again, simply because of all the class D amps I've had, not one has let me down in any way. Typical bar band bassist here. Small, light is the way to go for me. For others, they don't care about small or light. They go for the Tour amps. The headliner is a bit of an oddity, rack mounted, but light. With these new class D mini amps, Peavey has finally got up to speed and now as all basses covered. Big tube amps, rack mount amps, and minis.
