Finnish Bassists Club

I did know that, if you were referring to my previous post. I was just saying you don't have to even be Finnish to join. Sorry if I confused anyone or something.

So what are all you people up to?
I'm thinking I should make some more viili. I brought a bit home from Finland last year, and I made if a few times. I still have some left from my last batch in a glass in the fridge, and though it's been there for two months or so, it still seems fine. Maybe it'll still work as starter for a new batch. I found that when using low fat milk, such as the 2% we usually have, the milk seems to separate. The viili stays at the bottom and clear liquid just forms at the top. It didn't happen, as least not to the same extent, with the whole milk I used once. Maybe the fat content has some effect on it. Anyone else made some viili lately?

Turning the big black lever... connecting electrodes... it's alive! Raised this thread after skimming through it quickly. Can I join? Is Bett still around? Hello? Hello? I guess I better go for lunch and brew some nice hot coffee.

Does anyone play in a band at their work? I do... but actually guitar... I did join a "battle of the bands" project, Helsinki vs. Tampere to play bass and I am really stoked. I believe the bass playing actually helps my guitar chops too.

So, yes, 100 % Finnish, living in Tampere for almost 30 years now. I f Bett gets the numbers in order, I believe I will get #42.
