I applied three coats of carnauba wax, it works amazing.

Last weekend I made two gigs with this bass
String action is really low, I´m not really used but I love it, left hand and body feels perfect:hyper:
Zero neck dive:hyper:
I been playing active basses for 10 years and is very strange play passive now, the barts portrait very accurately the sound of the unplugged instrument, and there is plenty of dynamic, muted grooves feels perfect in this instrument.
Still trying to get used to right hand feeling:hmm: the instrument is very dynamic, and changing the place of pickin to the end of the fingerboard you can get a nice electric upright tone.
Well...
I´ll post some video and audio as soon as I can.

Feedback please!;)

Very nice!

I really like the overall design and attention to detail - not overly complex, or fancy, but with enough attention to detail to show that the bass was made by someone who cares.

Things like the neck volute, neck heel, and the recessed tuning machines show high quality work, without screaming out "Look at me! I am a custom bass!" Very nicely done.

Looks like the perfect workhorse - all the things you need, and none of the things you don't, in a good looking package. I dig it!

Overall I think you should be very proud - I can't wait to hear clips.

This is just amazing, Eduardo. I loved the little sound byte you put up earlier, and I can't wait for a full video of it. It looks so good; the simplicity of it is just perfect. I am so glad you went with that finish.

I can't believe this is your first bass build; it looks like a $1500+ professional custom.

And just as a word of advice: don't doubt yourself so much, ie: your looks, and play style; both are more than satisfactory.

I feel like this build could have a movie made about it. A first time bass builder have an amazing idea, great execution, and then...disaster strikes. After a terrible encounter with fire the brave bass builder doesn't give up. He bears down and, in the spirit of Rocky, finishes (both the build and the actual finish) with flying colors.

Great build. Sounds great, looks great, and you've made me feel completely inept. :) Keep up the good work and I'll be following your builds from here on out!

gnarly... lol ... you have a movie molded mind sir! You obviously spent way too much time eating popcorn and watching rented movies... but, out of curiosity...who do you vision in the lead role? lol ;)

Haha. I don't have any television channels, so I watch a lot of movies. Hmm...Well, I think, based on his roles in previous man-vs-world, fight the system, never-say-never movies the lead could be none other than the one and only...Keneau Reaves. Haha. Then we can then hear him say his signature line again. "...Whoa..."
