It's a shame Warmoth can't do white binding and blocks on a neck with a maple board. Apparently it shows up too much glue.
Did contacted Nino a while ago, honest i like his headstock design best, so a fair review will pull the trigger

So I keep hearing about valenti and his basses. Then I traipse over to his site. All I can say is well done. Beautiful well made (from what is said here) custom fenderesque instruments coming in at around 1.5 grand. If I had the cash Nino would definately be getting my order.

I just e-mailed Nino with the first draft of my next Valenti's spec list.
This will be my third Valenti and this one will be a guitar!

very playable... I'm also playing flat & wide necks myself. This neck is by no means a baseball bat, but it is a tad rounder than what I'm use to. Very nice in the hand, no issues with getting use to it at all.

I've only played it through my recording set up. I'll be puttin git through the "tube rig" paces this weekend.

in my first little recording session, I found the bridge pickup in single coil and the neck pickup in humbucker modes centered with the 2 band pre set to both mostly off (Nino, is that boost only?) gives a pretty wicked recorded tone (samples soon). It slaps well too (dispite my inability at that technique!).
