First/Last song you learned

The first song I learned all the way through and could play with a band was "Livin' After Midnight" by Priest.

The last song I learned was "Are You Gonna Be My Girl" by JET.

There were songs that I learned parts to when I got my first $60 no-name bass like Cat Scratch Fever or Foolin' by Def Leppard but I don't count those as the first songs I learned because I didn't know them all the way through.

I started with covers, played original stuff; now I'm back to doing covers... which is a lot of fun

First: Probably the Sex Pistol's "God Save the Queen" circa 1978.

Last: Not sure - I think "Take Me To The River" was the last thing we added to our set list. Privately, I've been fooling around with early Pink Floyd ("Arnold Layne", "Lucifer Sam").

CORRECTION: I'd forgotten we'd worked out "Instant Karma".

First: Just like heaven - The Cure

Last: Mi Peter Punk - Alejandro Sanz (currently working on it...Mr. Nathan East´s licks are a pain in the butt, specially when he begins to fool around with Vinnie Colaiuta´s fills)
