First Upgrade.

For the price of upgrades you could buy a used SR500 or similar model. Would feel similar but likely sound and play much better. Or you can keep an eye out and find a pretty sweet MIJ Ibanez used too.

If you love the bass and want to upgrade it and not think about another bass I'd go bartolini. Ibanez basses seem to really like Barts.

I kind of want to keep the bass body and just replace everything in it. I was thinking Seymour duncan QP's and preamp.

Geezers are passive and come with Volume, Volume, Tone controls. You can leave it passive and have a blank hole or just leave a pot in there with a Knob on it. Otherwise you can order an EMG preamp.
