Here Come the Warm Jets - Brian Eno
He doesn’t say if they’re water jets or aeroplanes, so I’m claiming it.
Agreed...Raino is a great song.Geez...Chilliwack. I was just thinking about that band, that song Raino.
The Cowsills...now there's a story that actually sits pretty far from the popular image.
Some genuine talent there, a career screwed up by a dad. Bud Cowsill, on the order of an even-less capable Murray Wilson or Joe Jackson.
Bill(y) was the Brian Wilson of the truly gifted siblings. His work with the Blue Shadows was especially great. "Three Christians and a junkie" as he described it. The surviving four members are still working. Still hitting some great harmonies.
A benefit concert to Bill, who was in the hospital with liver failure, big bills.
Barry died in Katrina, refused to leave New Orleans. Bill soon after.
Barry's song here.
