Yes.
My wife and I are planning on spending a LOT of time there when retire. Sad to say that's still a few years off though! We get down there about 4-5 times a year right now. Naples is a fabulous place. Not sure how the gig situation is there though.

That makes 2 of us. I have no idea what the gig situation is there either. Maybe I might have to journey up to Fort Meyers to find a band or 2. Im already used to having to drive maybe a half-hour to practice with my current band.

I think I'll just start posting on the SW Florida Craigslist about when I'll be moving there and see what pops up. Maybe I can get something I can just walk into when I get there. Who knows?

And the wife and I wont be retiring. Right now where Im at the job situation is crap and other than factory work all there is is minimum wage. Im 55 and the wife's 42 and we'll be staying with the in-laws who think Im a really nice guy and we all get along well. We're hoping to find work there. Heck, I can always restart tuning pianos and hopefully fixing band gear out of my house until i (hopefully) land a music store gig.....

I'm in the Fort Lauderdale area and played at Calvary Chapel this morning and goofed off this afternoon, have 3 rehearsals this week and a 13 song Night of Worship Wednesday Night and I'm playing Friday night with a couple of my band mates and Sunday morning double services in Dania Beach with our new IEM System there.
