I cannot agree with your opinion.
If this apply to the Brazilian board only It is NEVER make sence.
Because there will be exeception.
For example, Tom and Jerry ordered Fodera in 2008.
Tom's Fodera is Monarch deluxe with brazilian Rosewood Fingerboard.
Jerry's Fodera is Monarch deluxe with Indian Rosewood FB.
If Jerry want to change her fingerboard, Jerry can have two options.
1)Monarch Deluxe ($6,483) and New stash of BR ($849)
2)Monarch Deluxe ($6,483) and Old stash of BR ($1,499)
But according to you opinion, Tom canNOT have option 2. if Tom wanted option 2 Tom should pay Monarch deluxe $6,999 and New stash of BR $849.
It is NEVER Fair.
So I think Tom also have "Fair Chance"
1)Monarch Deluxe ($6,483) and New stash of BR ($849)
2)Monarch Deluxe ($6,483) and Old Stash of BR ($1,200)
because Tom has right to keep thier price and NEW brazilian for is New Stash. So If Tom wanted new stash, I think He could buy it for new price also He could keep other price.
Make sence?
There are things tom and Jerry Can not get option.
First For Jerry.
1) Monarch Deluxe ($6,483) and Old Stash of BR ($1,200)
Because she did not pay deposit for Old brazilian, She does not have right to buy Old BR for 2008 price. So if she wanted old stash of BR, She should pay 2010 price ($1,499).
Second, For Tom
1) Monarch Deluxe ($6,483) and Old stash of BR ($849)
Because New Price is for New Stash, Tom cannot do.
Make sence?
From my point of View, Completely reprice is NEVER make sence.
What do you think about it?
