Few weeks ago, I posted my 2011 :bawl: Fodera on the club thread.
That time,I didn't know how to post photos on the website so I couldn't, but now, I just learned.!

Here!!

Alder Body, Brazilian Rosewood FB, Water-Maple Neck, Maple Burl Top, Fodera PUs.

Actually, I was really tempted by brazilian Rosewood Burl Top, so I changed my top woods, but I saw my Maple Burl too much to put in down... Finally, I comeback to her!!

Mine will finished a bit eariler than yours... haha....:hyper:

Man-Ho

It is 34".

My procudtion slot is semptember, 2011.
So If there's nothing special and a little luck, it will finished in November. My birthday is November too. :)

Mine is in Sep product slot as well... and my birthday is Dec..... best bday and pre-christmas gift in 2011 for sure.. :hyper:

Nothing that looks like this piece. We only have one (that's right, one) piece of truly extraordinary Chestnut left for a solid top...

An interesting piece of trivia...EVERY Chestnut Fodera's top came from the same tree. Every one!

Is it wrong to ask what that last piece is going for?

Saw on basscentral that they have a beautiful crotch walnut 5 with a RW board coming to it, I am very curious to see that thing when it's done!

so sober, Just Gorgeous ...
Hey Thndrstk6!

Would you mind doing another mock up? I know alot of poeple ask you to do them but I'd reallly appreciate it =)

Its an emperor 5 with a 4 string sized body
Black Hardware
Rosewood board
Alder Body
Flamed Walnut Top
34'
Standard String Spacing
Seymour Duncan Dual Coils w/ plastic covers

You can use any generic walnut if you have any for the top. can't seem to find the pic of my chosen top.

Man, I got about the same thing on order except with single coils and the emperor II! Nice.

Nice! I'm also thinking of a resized Emperor 5. What is standard string spacing? 19 mm?

Richard's next bass will be very simple -- EXACTLY like the Fodera that he has become known for. The one that he did not keep was a 33" scale. Since he travels so much he wanted us to make him a more compact, lighter weight (Swamp Ash instead of Medium Weight Northern Ash) instrument. After playing it for quite awhile he decided that he preferred not having to switch back and forth between 33" and 34" scale and preferred the tone of his heavier, denser 34". So, we will be replicating that bass as exactly as possible.
