yea that's right... I can't remember who wanted to see that.. When they brought that into the store (again I think that was the one) it was the first 6 string i had ever seen and the biggest bass I had ever seen.. But beautiful. i remember sitting there holding it and thinking God, what would I ever do with all these strings.. LOL
am so happy I bought that Monarch though.. It has been the most incredible bass and my one and only for 27 years..

i think i have the second bass made of the second body shape that's called an anthony jackson (6-string), so my guess is that the pic in quesion is the first body style fodera made for anthony. i'm not the authority on this, tho'.

Ah, ok, thanks again.
Would be quite interesting to see pic of all basses made for him.
Including the one I read was "number 11" but didn't quite do it for him and was then sold in japan.
(I think I read it somewhere, but am not 100% sure.)

Just curious. My Grandmother lived there for years. My dad went to school there for a bit as well. The chapel there at the university is incredible! They had an Easter service that was so phat, Jesus couldn't get in because they didn't put him on the list.

My dad is a pilot and we used to fly into Porter County airport and visit. He would always buy big containers or Orville Reddenbacher popcorn when he was there. Before it was really popular.

Very cool! Valpo is a great town. Perfect mixture of things going on and small town feel.

You're right - VU is a great place and Valpo would be a different place without it, for sure.

It's cool that you have some ties here. The Midwest seems starved when it comes to jazz a lot of times. Would be great if you played around here sometime!

I was just talking to Mike about playing at the Jazz Kitchen in Indy a few hours ago.
