Looks like it... with the NYC logo on it... this bass must sing

Definitely looks like my 98... I think i have seen this before though, and i don't know why but 4 strings NYC go for a lot cheaper than 5ers...

Still, i would buy it myself if i hadn't something else in mind at the moment ^^

Hi Guys,

I was recently in New York to pick up my Emperor Elite 5. I visited the Fodera shop and Andy and the girls where the first my girlfriend and I meet and they were very nice. Jason, who I have so mails and TB's message with, welcome us and showed us the shop and we meet all the workers. Maybe I should say all the masters :) It was very cool and seeing all that wood makes you want one more Fodera :)

I saw my bass for the first time live and played it. It fit my hands so well! I'm really glad I went with 17.5 mm spacing. The setup was great as well! After I got home to Denmark I have had more time to play and try different setting on the bass. This bass sounds really really good. It have the sound I wanted and more. This walnut/ebony combo is pretty great for slapping.

We also meet the Fodera guys at the Victor Wooten/Stanley Clarke concert at B.B club and were very nice to us and lets sit at their table. Their hospitality were great. Maybe it the american way but it's very unlike the danish way! We enjoy it alot.

I ordered the bass through Dave from Link Removed and I will recommend him all the way. He was very helpful and great to give respond on my many mails :) He knows alot about Fodera and the basses, so I believe he was just as excited as me for my new bass.

Christian --

One of the very best parts of what we do is meeting the people that will take our instruments out into the world and make Music with them. It was our pleasure hosting you and we wish you many, many years of being part of the Fodera Family. Be well and stop by and visit us the next time you are in New York!

hey janek,

half-way through your vid right. is it okay to provide a link to it to other folks? specifically, there's one of those usual bitch-fests about how much foderas cost and think it would be interesting for some of these folks to get more of an idea of the *why* (not that it will sway the super fundamentalists).
