Hi
I'm looking for a 5 strings FODERA with mapple fretboard (I already have one with brasilian rosewood fretboard and other one with ebony fretboard). I can pay to 8000 us$, shipping to France included (depending of the model and the state of the bass).
contact by PM only please
thx for all

Some pics of my last week received Imperial

My old bass. I ordered it new in 98. Got it in 99.

It was my first Fodera. Unfortunately I hated it... Had Joey swap the pickups a bunch of times but never warmed up to it.

I'm sure it was me though not the bass. I'd probably like it now...

If you look at the headstock is not the same as Mike, in his Viceroy the lowB and straight like a shot :smug:....myrtle burl top is a marvel for the eyes !

This bass was built for my partner, David Yates. It was done so quickly because it was ordered around the same time mine was. It is effectively identical to mine, except for the obvious differences which are inconsequential. The headstock change was actually my suggestion. I told Vinny to do it the way he did it, but then I didn't like it. My fault. But a VERY small issue and not worth doing anything about. Everything else is the same except the top wood...which is FREAKING gorgeous! I didn't envision it being that nice when David picked it. Wow!

Mike, David's sounds better...

JK!

I wasted no time in getting YYS#2 under the lights. It showed up Friday at 7:00pm and I had a gig at 9:00pm. I opened the box, took it out of the case, wrapped my hands around the neck and instantly fell in love. I feels like a $1,000,000! It's everything that I could ever want in a bass.

Superb neck and set up. I have never played a bass with action this CRAZY low with no buzz.

The sound is beautiful. Crisp, clear, modern, punchy, articulate, dynamic, yet very even all around the neck. The preamp is extremely active in fact I enjoyed the sound best with the preamp just set flat. My sound man also loved it! He commented on how easily he was able to get a great sound out front. He said that he was actually able to turn the bass up louder in the mix because of it! I like that.

The bass looks amazing. Incredible fit and finish. It's carved beautifully and feels so smooth yet so solid. I'm telling people in the bar about my new bass, like the one that Victor Wooten plays and they say, "who"? Are you kidding me!?

I also had a gig on Sat. and it performed as well or even better because I am starting to get more used to it.

My wife asked me if I could ever find 1 bass that would be my only bass.............is she nuts? Well, this bass could actually be it. Feel, Sound, and Looks, I can't ask for anything more.

Thank you Fodera for making this bass and selling it to me! I can't wait for this weekend.......2 more gigs....can you tell I'm excited?

If you're not on the wait list, I suggest you get on it. I have many expensive basses. Sadowsky, Ken Smith, Lakland and others. My Fodera Yin Yang Standard is like a lovely mix of all my favorite features of all of my other basses, all in one. You will not be disappointed.

sweet bass. great review. number 8 ships this week :hyper:

No doubt!! Their new album is freakin' amazing. One of my absolute favorite groups. Derek is a monster.

Nothing beats a southern soul band with horns and a B3!

Yeah, Derek is killer, his brother Duane Trucks is a monster drummer, a friend of mine is in a group with him and Col. Bruce.

Hey Jason, Has Oteil rec'd his new Monarch?
