how is the new ampeg working out. I had cutting out issue with my 500 so i returned it for a SVT 7 which is same preamp with more headroom. Still waiting for the matching cabs as i am trying to sell some stuff first :-(. Still main rig is eden and a Markbass SD 1200 for outside shows so not sure when the ampeg will get used. Been leaning on some old tube heads lately as in my avatar and an 1971 univox 1245 that i had fixed recently and it sounds wonderfully old tubey thru a 4 12 sealed cab.

you and me both my friend. I think of my first meeting/visit to the shop in '83 quite often. Fodera has been a main part of my life ever since that day.

And I kept going back.... thats why my YYS is my sixth, only the 6 string is gone. My wife even came with a few times back in the 80's.... do you remember the other original guy..... EX ARMY /NAVY something like that..

Been using my little GK MBS-III with the ampeg as an extension. Awesome combo. Both sealed. I love the PF115 cabinet, it's tight and punchy, nice full range sound. Get lots of compliments. i am all about sealed cabs. I really disliked the head though. Sent it back 2 days after I got it. Just didn't do it for me, and the loudest fan I've ever heard on an amp.. LOL I bought a Little Mark III head in case I need more power for outside etc.
seems we think alike. :)

no, sorry I don't.. can't picture him... I wish I could have spent more time there but I was working like crazy that time period. Carrying about 30 students at Focus II guitar center, some privates and playing full time.. Not complaining though. :-)

Hey Goran... how's it going man? Would love to see the basses. The little Mark III is cool. 90% of my gigs are covered by the little GK and the GK with the PF115 but I had the Little Mark out on a couple and it did well.. tying back to the Fodera thread, both the monarch 4 (which has a nice old school sound with the EMG's) and the new Matt Garrison 5 sound great through both of the rigs.
