That is going to be one beautiful bass Timothy.. My MG 5 has the 16.5 mm and I'm really diggin it. I go back and forth between my old Monarch (standard spacing what ever that is) and the MG and both feel normal now.

well I'm hoping to have a good show. Especially the part on Sunday when it ends
I am sure it will be great for all parties next week. I think they should have a NAMM show in NYC
NAMM upsides:
see/touch all the new stuff
see/hear impromptu jams with ridiculous players
connect with the people who make your gear and put names to faces
schwag (though it has gone down since the 80's/90's)
booth babes (some of them)
NAMM downsides:
$20 parking
$10 hot dogs
sensory overload (take a typical sat afternoon in GC and multiply by 11)
booth babes (some are scary)
post NAMM cold (get one every time)

Can't wait for NAMM! All those new basses are growning on me and now I have some gas for a MG bass again 
Didn't you own the Redwood top MG5 featured on Fodera' site, that was a beaut and with 19mm spacing, so what made you go so narrow this time?
BTW, is that Brazilian Rosewood or Katalox?
Yeah, I can agree with most all of this. The parking at the Marriott, if still available when I go, is $30. But with all of the walking I do at the show, it's nice to not have to walk so far to get into the show.
