Of course they have a limit. This sort of thing can be planed out ,ahead of time with current staff, where it wont interrupt production of custom orders.

True, but if capacity is finite in the shop something has to give won't you say?

Could be more crafmen have been hired but I doubt it.

With the introduction of the first two standard models, production has never slowed (it's even gotten faster). I'm not sure how they did it but it seemed to work. Building these basses in small batches must be very time-efficient.

Also, I'm pretty sure Matt uses 19mm spacing, but I may be wrong. I would guess that that's the spec for the standard, since it's based on his signature model, but of course it can always be adjusted. Love those Fodera bridges!

I hope it's 33 scale and 17.5 mm But it will be 19 mm spacing as Matt has it.

I think the spacing on the Fodera bridges can be adjusted. I remember Jason mentioning sometime back that while the ' spec ' spacing on Matt's actual Chetsnut topped bass in 19mm, he actually sets it up so that it's somewhere around 18mm.

MY guess is 19mm on the MGS.

I always thought Matt used the old standard bridge.

Hope it is 19mm and 33", granted I will not been in queue for one for a while.

I am very, very intrigued as to what the final standard model will be (to be announced next year). So far there's a Monarch 4, Emperor 5, and Imperial 5 - these seem like the most popular models, so I really have no idea what next year's might be. Any ideas? Not that I'm trying to ruin the surprise or anything, I'm just curious because it would have to be something a little different than your usual Fodera.

I'm gone to go watch the BBC Sherlock and get inspired. Lol!
