Hey everyone..I'm locking in my specs tomorrow, and I had a quick question I never thought to ask Jason or Phil..do the Dual Coil PUP's have a radius to them? For that matter, do their ramps have a radius? I assume that "Spray Finish" refers to the ramp being cut to match the rest of the top...which would be how I would like to do it.
I have made ramps for my basses in the past, but this might be something I want to leave to the experts.

I'm pretty sure that Jason has posted here before that the Dual Coils do not have a radius, that they are, in fact, flat topped. I believe the ramp is flat as well. Spray finish, I presume, means that it would be finished in the same way at the top of the bass. I am having a ramp made for mine, but it will be Brazilian rosewood, and I presume it will remain unfinished like the fretboard.

The ramp they made for my bass had a radius.

Jason is on vacation for the next week but you can call the shop and someone will answer your questions. IIRC the ramps match the neck radius. Pickups are flat.

Looks like the AJ Presentation except with the full Pope preamp and two pickups. That 36" scale probably has a killer low B that would make the termites in the rafters run for cover. I like it. I wonder what something like that would look like in a 5 string except 35" scale, no electronics, maybe call it Son of AJ. GAS is starting to infect me again. I concur the Standards are the gateway drug.
