I'm proud new owner of Monarch new standard. I traded my Imperial 5 for that. Some might say that it was stupid to trade Imperial to new standard but I'm very satisfied to trades. Absolutely easiest bass that I have never played.

Nice!!! I'd love to get an older Fodera. I used to have an older Monarch 4 that was made in the mid 90's.
Ok, so I wanted to get a little video posted with me and the new girl. It was recorded on an iPad, so the audio isn't very good. I tried to enhance it as best as I could. Annoyingly, when I switched to the Moog during the Bruno Mars tune, it wasn't loud enough to hear so the bottom drops out... And I screwed up the beginning of the song.
The video is of my agency corporate/wedding band. I feel incredibly lucky not just to have this bass, but play along side with some insane crazy good musicians.
The songs are all shortened because once a month, we bring prospective clients in and give them a little taste of what we do.

Congratulations on 30 years of making the finest instruments in the world guys! Loving mine and GASSING for more of them myself! Thanks for giving me an instrument that inspires me to do what I do and makes it easy in the process...Here's to 100 more years!

Appreciate it. We really try to stay on top as much as possible. Songs these days are so easy to learn that a majority of the time, we learn them as we play through the night.
I am extremely pleased with this bass!!! I secretly did not expect it to be this good and versatile. I'm very lucky to have to stumbled upon this find and the cats at Bassgear.co.uk really did an amazing job taking care of me.

Mistake on the website. Inception was March 14, 1983 at Avenue O in Brooklyn. We moved to our current location in 1990.

So the inception of fodera as a company predates the setting up of the workshop in Brooklyn?
It says 1989 on the website.

Why? You think we had a little wine yesterday? Actually we now have on our Team a very important addition...Joe has adopted the title "Luthier-Beer Meister" and so in addition to some lovely Champagne, yesterday afternoon was filled with some insanely great brews procured by Joe.
Of course last night was also the first (and second) practice for the Melbourne F-1 race and so getting 3 hours of sleep on top of yesterday afternoon has left me feeling a little less festive today! LOL.
