Gorgeous instrument Jason, congratulations!
In the close up of the body it appears that there is a thin layer of white and then black between ash and the walnut. Is this something that is just done at the perimeter or all the way under the walnut? Can you please explain how this was done? (Sorry if this is redundant, I know you've described this bass to us before...)
And a big Happy Birthday to all the folks at Fodera!

Happy Anniversary! It is not easy to persevere at anything for 30 years. Anyone can win a race, but few win championships. Congrats and its ok not to work on my bass after 2 pm.
congrats on the bass but most of all an amazing 30 years. Give my best wishes to V and J and everyone else there. Been dealing with a health issue but as soon as I am feeling better i will email for a day to come by and celebrate and bring a few of my basses in for "things"...

Thanks! I went with a double veneer -- the black is Anigre and the light colored wood is Maple and, yes, it goes under all of the top.
