So here is the deal with Tours...we do not give them as a matter of policy, whether it is more because of significant time constraints or the dangers involved with being in a very small, active wood shop should be immaterial. That said, for current owners and prospective owners we definitely allow a limited number of shop visits as long as they are scheduled in advance and we have the time available.
Remember, we have zero personnel dedicated to this kind of thing. It's one thing when someone visits to spec a bass, ask questions about building an instrument or come in for service -- that is very much a part of all of our daily functions, but to just walk people through the shop as a tour guide...we just do not have that kind of time. A big part of me wishes that we did have time to do more of that, but part of me is grateful that we don't...
