and second which pedals I use.
I use Moog ring modulator, Boss OC-2, MXR Octaver, MXR envelope, and that reverb/delay which sounds so beautiful is Source Audio Soundblox Dimension Reverb... kind of like souurce audio because it has great setting for reverb and you can use simultaneously reverb and delay.
Also the album is available on iTunes and CDbaby, but I would suggest AbstractLogix for that... check

@Steubig, yea man I know what are you aiming at, but as I think there is nothing "croatian" in our music, we play music on which we grow up (weather report, holdsworth, american jazz etc.)
So just trying to have fun and play the best we can.
this is kind of jazz so we barely can live out of it, so we put together this band just to have fun and it came out more than we expected... my good friend is doing that "croatian style" jazz, which has croatian melodies written in jazz arrangement if you are interested

i guess i was thinking about people like l sclavis, who i think sounds french, or the rune grammaphon semi-jazzers, who seem to have a norwegian sensibility to my ear, and the dutch guys, who seem to have their thing as well.
you guys are really good, so all respect!
just my musing on stuff possibly moving to a more "international style." (power of the internet and all that)
the clip of the other guy seems to have that balkan rhythmic thing? kinda cool.
p.s. i think there is sometimes a big difference between stuff from nyc and l.a. even between l.a. and san francisco . . .

well, putting folk music into classical/jazz music is always a little iffy from my perspective. i don't think that the people i mentioned do that so much as they do have a certain "something" in their music/playing (think wagner vs. debussy, for examplevery german vs. very french, while still having some similarities in harmony).
i wasn't in croatia, i played in Ljubljana back in the 80s. fascinating place to be . . . in and out for a gig, so very brief. but yeah, the country seemed very shut off then . . . tito was still alive?
anyway, the regional differences/schools is something that interests me.

btw. I really like "for sylvia" - I was not able to get it (the studio version with the vocals) out of my head for a long time
No problem! I was a bit disappointed that the studio version of Sylvia doesn't have your bass solo on it though. Oh well, I guess I have to wait for the live album, right?@ Vic thanks man!!!!

Anyone else catch Patrick Andy playing with Rachel Brown on Good Day New York this morning? Big whompin' tone from his emporer elite 6 which I think is pretty rare to come through that clear on tv. At the end of the show Greg Kelly was holding it while he introduced the band. Some nice free product placement ...

That is very cool!
But.... Not as cool as my wife watching Justin Timberlake (her favorite) on SNL during the beginning of his monologue and saying "the bassist has a Fodera, doesn't he? Looks like yours".
