Just wanted to say thanks for the nice words, and keeping the newest Fodera in this section of the thread, so all can see Vinnie, Joey, Jason, and the rest's latest amazing handiwork!
No, the MG rear pickup is 3/8" closer to the neck compared to 70s.
Who has one and who plays one? Did Dave Carpenter played one/
I could not find one on the newborn section of the fodera website (and there is no way to look by string number).
Also, the only options on the price list seems to be SD DUAL COIL or EMG soapbar for 6 string, but I am sure as a custom instrument they can do single coil. I am surprised I can't find an example of it.

So was it worth it? I'm planning my next Fodera and I'm still torn between another Imperial 5 or going for a smaller scale AJ shape 6er.
But didn't you sell that one too?

You had some awesome Foderas. And now searching for new one.
Curious as to why? Not found the perfect one yet?
Yes, I sold the MG basically because I was missing the low B. Also I couldn't find the sound I'm looking for. May be I should go for a Bolt-on.
That is very interesting. What kind of tone are you looking for?
I ask because I am looking at purchasing an MG style Fodera and still not sure if it the right bass or not.
So, gridchin, you haven't decided to get the Holly Emperor II, yet?
Roughly 9.5" - 19" +/- as they are all hand sanded...
Cheers,
J
