Ok this is a bit off topic, but.... I'm playing in some seriously shady areas. I'm not keen on bringing out a Fodera, sorry. I'd like to get something that's reasonably playable and sounds half decent and costs less than $5-800. I posted it here, because if you own a Fodera you know what playable and sounds good actually means. Thanks in advance and just pm me if you have an idea and aren't comfortable posting it here. Thanks!

that's what I have, but I play my Fodera everywhere, I'm kind of guy that (when we are on tour) take bass everywhere with me (lunch, meeting, not leaving it on stage etc.) only if I can leave it in nice hotel, I'm not even leave it in a van or any transport.... It became like a piece of me...

Sorry to say this, but it has been hard to play anything else.

I took my Emp 5 out this weekend and I was like a hawk watching the thing and if the guy's stopped at a gas station I would sit in the van and wait "Never leave your bass unattended." Don't take any chances just carry it with you everywhere...

I love my Fodera but 75 % of my gigs I play a lower price instrument! Mostly because the Fodera is too good for some gigs
