Hey Robin,

I am 99% sure that any reasonable modification of the body shape (including the presentation shape) does not generate an up charge. I met a guy earlier this year that had a 4 string presentation. Neat looking bass.

How is the neck carve, it is on the thin sort of 'lead bass' side? I have been chasing one of these since they came out (and would have one of I were single ;) ) but haven't gotten one yet. I'm embarrassed at this point to ask Jason anything lol

This is correct. A completely new design / shape MIGHT incur and additional charge, but reasonable modifications to any of the existing shapes is no charge as are making the neck any shape that you want, scale length, string spacing, etc...

No, it is not exceptionally thin. I'd say it's a "happy medium."

I'd like to know more about my Imperial

Looking through the website there is no directory or archive

(Don't mean to open a can of worms - I know it would be laborious especially for older basses) I bet the newborns are going into a database now with Jason there

I've registered my bass a while back but I honestly don't know what the top wood is

#I51693N - it's an awesome beast 36" ebony fretless board - mahogany body - top might be walnut???

Also it has gold HW including an engraved brass TR cover - I've not seen another like it & am wondering if its from a specific era or a special model??

Ill get some pics up
