Fodera Club Part XXIII

Thankfully, the wait time for new custom orders is now just 12-13 months and ALL specs can be changed up until roughly 7 months before a customer is due to receive their new instrument (i.e. up to 4 months before we start building it).

The situation previously was, frankly, unacceptable, and we are all so thankful to those of you that stuck with us through that period.

+2 Lennard: about 5 years waiting time (I got mine just 4 months after Jason stepped in while original order was made through thr GrooveShoppe that suddenly disappeared off the radar). I ordered it while playing with a band that did not survive the waiting time...And it does not exactly fit the band I've been playing it after that. But that's a hell of an instrument and i can't imagine parting with it at the moment.

There is no better time to order an instrument than now.I believe this is the golden age of Fodera Guitars.

Indeed.

I went through the 4+-year-wait-with-dealer-that-got-lost, too, only to cancel and reorder a few years later. The situation with Jason is wildly better. But that is what you get when you get real businessmen in to run a business and let the artists be artists.

The awesome thing is that the quality of recent instruments is the same, if not better, than in prior decades.

The reorganization clearly put them in an arrangement to get the success they deserve.
