Pumas, I would not worry too much about satiating your desire for more until you have played the one you are getting. I've had this lady for a week and a half. Once you see and hear yours, you may become quite content. The more I play the more I seem to bond with the instrument. It sounds soooo good. It fits like a glove to. I still would like to try another combination of woods and string numbers, maybe a standard, but for now, I am very very happy.

Love the look of your new Monarch. After the original AJ double cut shape, I really like the Monarch. Really elegant design. Yours looks more like the older ones they used to build. I think it's the maple (?) top with the ebony board.

The E5S Fretless HAS been released but we have not started shipping them yet. They will start shipping very shortly and we ended up doing three-piece bodies on them -- Walnut-Ash-Walnut. It gave us the tone that we wanted and saved almost 1/2 pound weight-wise.

Cheers,

Jason

It's a new Standard that hasn't been released yet. I believe Jason said it's going to have an ash(?) toneblock.

Sadly I am going to miss all of you at this year's NAMM Show. I just made the decision to stay home and tend to things on the home front. My mother-in-law has been fighting Melanoma valiantly for the past three years but according to her hospice nurse is in her final days.

I had the good fortune of seeing her this past Thursday. She is an amazing woman and one of the reasons that my wife Deborah is the most amazing woman I know. It's one of those times when I wish that I could clone myself and be in two places at once.

Joey, Ken, Phil and Laura will be there to hold down the fort.

Kindest regards,

Jason

Man, the top on your bass is stunning! (I assumed the bass in your profile pic is yours... Lol)

I can barely wait to be at NAMM this week. I'll prob set up camp at the Fodera booth until the announcements are made!

ARRRRRGH!!!!!! I totally understand, but the selfish side of me is REALLY bummed about not being able to chat with you in person (again).

All my best and most heartfelt wishes for the family in this difficult time. Peace. Talk to you soon (enough). :)
