In the company of family, in peace and with dignity, is all we hope for.

Rami, thanks so much for asking. Sadly she is hours away from passing on. Sometime today or tomorrow. My wife Deborah is by her side and and the kids and I are on standby to make the trip down to Maryland...

Given what she has gone through, she will be doing better when the time finally comes. She has waged a long and very courageous battle with a very rare and aggressive kind of Melanoma.

BTW that Emperor 5 Standard fretless does look rather nice and great specs; what a shame it doesn't come with frets.

Me too.. I got to play a Monarch fretless 6 a few weeks ago and it was just mind blowing; 34" scale, 19" spacing at the bridge and the set-up was sweet & low. If it weren't for the fact my fretless playing sucks "Big time," I'd be raiding the piggy bank.

While not recommended, I do wonder what it would be like if you got it and had it fretted?

only way to get better at fretless is to do it a lot (and practice all those humiliating double stops). you won't get better by avoiding it

Yep, absolutely..plus a thick skin & ear plugs in my case.

Please ya'll don't take me seriously.
