Here are a few crappy cell phone pics taken at my hotel....

I absolutely love this bass and Jason, Joey and Vinnie really make customers feel like family. I honestly can't see myself playing anything other than Fodera for the foreseeable future.

P.S. I also locked in my 2nd Monarch Deluxe specs today. I think I have a sickness.:help: I will very likely be selling my E5S very soon if anyone is looking for a mint one.

ES5 pickup placement = genius.

I was wondering why i liked the neck pickup so much, so i measured it up, its pulled back into the p-bass neck pickup placement, not j-bass neck coil. And the bridge pickup ... one coil in 70s j-bass position, the other close to 60s J.

My favorite bass is an ash/rosewood 71 p-bass. The ES5 is a cousin.

That is beautiful! Is that an upgrade walnut top or a standard top?

Thanks! Standard top. The only upgrades on the bass are the Duncan DC PU and the ramp.

Finally got a chance to play it for a good hour or so acoustically tonight (staying at yet another hotel). I love the playability of the bass and I prefer the set neck Deluxe to the neck thru or bolt on. To each their own, but it just feels perfect for me.

Also, the ramp is very cool. First time I really spent time with a high end bass with a ramp. I am instantly a ramp guy.:)

Lastly, my bass weighs under 9.5lbs which is perfect. It actually feels lighter.

I actually own this 6er. Fully agree with Mitch. B string is well defined and integrated but over all the low end benefits from some EQ support. The bass weighs 5.3 kg - 11 lbs 11 oz.

I like it, but playing a whole show with it on a strap could be painful - never tried that.

Mitch has put some clips on YT - great stuff ! His Bona 5 performed well in his hands.

Wow. That is worth the trip! What an amazing looking bass! No need for wine, I'd get drunk just looking at this thing. Congrats.
