note that in the finish pictures the fingerboard is covered in tape.

I'm listening to the Spiral album right now and Tony Grey's Fodera sounds amazing!

I'm sure it's a very special feeling being so close to getting of those.

Can't wait to hear the update!

Nice...33"/17 mm string spacing....you're going to get around that board pretty fast!
The koa is real nice too. How long have you waited so far for it from ordering?

Yea. every time I talk to Joey I remind him "Make the bass as small as you possibly can!"

I ordered the bass in March..... I was able to find a dealer that was just about to have a bass started and he changed the order to my specs. I bet he had ordered the bass 18 months ago.

I was originally told it would take 3 months but we all know how that goes at Fodera...... wait, wait and then wait some more....

I actually have it pretty good as my wait will only be 9 months.

I'll try to get some sound samples once the bass is in my hands next week (hopefully......)

Nice one! Cool idea to make it passive! My Fodera sounds great passive!

You have a great collection of basses!

Well it is 10:25 am here in Houston and my new bass is scheduled to be delivered by FedEx by 12:00 (priority overnight)

I ordered the bass in March so I really only had to wait 9 months (don't ask how) but these last few hours are killer!

Anyway, pics and report to come soon.

Well......here it is. So far it feels great! Very small body, extremely low action (I may actually raise it a bit)

I leave for a gig soon so I'll let you know more tomorrow.
