I"m looking for clean un-messed with Gretsch TK-300 bass, either finish ok. Thought to be one of the most uncool basses of all time -- so it's perfect for me. This is kinda contingent on selling the NR T-Bird I have for sale up here but thought I would put the word out.

I had a TK300. Not a bad little short scale. The best part was the blade pickup. But I pulled the pickup and neck to make a Bo Diddley bass. Then, years later decided to install the pickup on a Warmoth build.

Still have the neck in case you find a body. Good luck!

Wow, I'd never seen one before, either, and yeah, it kind of screams, "I got a C- in shop class," but yeah, I think I'd play it anyway. I like quirky stuff.

I had the 6 string variety back in the early 90's. It was mostly awful, but I wouldn't mind trying the bass. I traded my guitar plus a Hondo longhorn copy for a '72 EB-0.
