Now if they would just bring back the JB-2 to put those in....
Nice! I hope they will sell them as parts as well. Including them in a Tribute model would be sweet also.
It would be a great way to reintroduce that model.
Is one of them checking the build sheet against the order specs?

I have several G&Ls and love them. Their website used to be set up so that you could pick out an instrument and configure it. Now it seems that they only offer basses in a couple of colors and without options such as binding or different fret markers. If they're going to offer more options they should make it easier to see them.
Agreed...I know that they have many custom options, but the website doesn't reflect that.
There is a bit more depth to the tone...hard to explain, but the pickups being hotter than the alnico's can get a bit more grind to them. If you dig in, they don't fight you...they go with you and ask for more.
And they are different that the L2000 sc tone...again, they are thicker and more present. I find the sc L2000 lacks some depth.
Hopefully they'll get together. I know they would sell more if they did
I never thought of that option...LOL. My bass was supposed to have the MFD's in when I first picked it up, but they forgot to put them in and instead put in the alnico's...the addition of the MFD's was to correct the error, and I kept the alnico's...I can always swap them back if I want to.
My buddy Steve Araujo is there now running with some R&D and marketing...he is starting to do some great things...I'll let him chime in when the time is right to let more cats out of the proverbial bags...Steve's TB handle is caesar bass
I'm thinking this is the big question. I'm hoping for singles, myself. Singles that sound on par with the original MFD singles of yore, or at least close. They'll really have something if they do (IMO).
Not to be "that guy", but....
If they're hummers, they're going to have to sound a lot different than the current MFD's, or what would be the point?....just order an L-2000?
With adjustable pole pieces? My JB5 sounds sweet, but with the 9.5" board radius my string volume is less equal than I would like. I wish they had radiused the pole pieces and have been considering either custom made aero pus or the nordstrand blades.
