Forgotten 70's Rock Bands

I don't know if they've already mentioned been mentioned in this thread but one of my favourite bands from the 70's into the early 80's is hometown band Klaatu. Heads up, the bass on both of these two songs is a 1967 Hofner 500/1.

I know nothing about the Innkeeper Band except they were from McAllen TX, but here's their very nice cover version of "I Still Love You, Anyway", written by Buddy Miles's guitarist and frequent writing partner Charlie Karp, from Buddy's 1970 album Them Changes:
Local boys! aka The Staccatos. Every musician in town has a story that so and so's old man/uncle/cousin played with the FMEB, but most of them are full of crap!
Here is a long lost Canadian band from the 1970s. I met these guys in Toronto in 1976. I still have all three of their albums. Here are two of them. Geddy Lee produced the No Static album. bassist Allan Marshall, guitarist Steve McMurray and drummer Glenn Beatson, who had played together in an Australian band called Autumn

Not sure if they've been mentioned but I was seriously into Canadian band Max Webster, which was seriously difficult in the UK as no one had heard of them and their records were very hard to find, but steely determination led me to getting all their albums eventually. Great band.
How are they forgotten? Four year string of non-stop hits, if you turn on any oldies station anywhere the odds are you'll here at least one of them every day.
While these guys were technically a 60's band that straddled into the 70's, moving from the British blues movement into more proggy(and sometimes metal/punky)territory, they had a respectable following in the UK, but were only an obscure cult item in the US...
