Kinda tardy to the party here for the Italian GP weekend... currently at work with live commentary playing as I type. Danny Ric hasn't lead a race since Abu Dhabi in 2018!?! Go Danny Boy! And what the heck happened between Max and Lewis?
I absolutely love the Temple of Speed at Monza. Bummed I can't see it live but listening is the next best thing I suppose.
Oh and I'm super happy for George Russell getting that drive with Mercedes. Can't wait to see what he can do next year.

Wow... where in the heck did that McLaren speed come from??? Hats off to Danny Rick. I thought he was bound for IndyCars given his performance in the first half of the season, but he just cemented his F1 future. Crazy cool finish for the papaya cars! Zak Brown deserves a big atta boy.
Btw, Danny Rick also grabs the Dale Earnhardt Wrangler car from Zak's collection with today's finish. For those who enjoy forms of racing aside from F1, that's pretty dang cool.
Regarding the accident, I think it was a racing deal needing no penalties.. but Max should've backed out. He needs to mature as a driver and realize things during a race don't always go your way. Hamilton didn't like backing out earlier in the race, but he's smart enough to see the big picture. Max isn't anywhere close to having that maturity just yet.
Bottas is a machine. Mercedes still has a heckuva car.
Perez looks like a loose cannon lately. Wow, pull it together, Checo.
Bummer of a day for AlphaTauri.
Wish we had back-to-back races at Monza. Just thinking of going to Sochi for the next round is so deflating after today.

Reminded me of his driving when Ocon was his team mate and he had habit of pushing him off track
This. To follow up a weekend at Monza with Sochi is indeed deflating to say the least!
Nice to see Dan Ric in on the Podium. I like him quite a bit. The 1 - 2 finish for McLaren was pretty neat. I get the idea the young man was just a touch peeved but he handled himself with poise and said all the right things after.
Another Sunday of flying for me, so just finished the race on DVR…
WHOOOOHOOOO!! My faith in Danny Ric has been rewarded!! So happy for him and the entire McLaren Team. So fun to see the one guy who genuinely looks like he’s having fun out there win another one. AWESOME!!
Not sure what DR found during the August break, but whatever it is, it’s fun to have him back on the top step!

Verstappen guilty. Guy's a liability, not trustworthy or safe it seems.
That was a very entertaining race! Glad no one was seriously hurt. Makes you wonder what could have happened if there was no Halo. Max got penalized 3 grid spots at Sochi plus 2 penalty points.

Max throwing a hissy fit because of his poor pit stop and then runs Hamilton over in a rage. Not a good look for Max. Lucky Hamilton Didn't get Injured.
Right. Without the halo Hamilton could have been killed. And Verstappen would have been responsible.
Max is, and has always been a hothead. Every time things aren't perfect for him he takes out his frustrations on other people (usually by taken the off the track).
Stunning Maclaren victory. Not sure I'd partake of a 'shoey' though. Nasty.
