I’m actually considering paying for the F1TV replay plan, so I may well be joining you in that mode. This is how I operate. If I can't watch the race for a few days, I stay off this thread for a few days.
I agree about the DRS. I never cared for it actually as it always seemed like a cheat way of passing vs. real talent and a better car under you.
Awe it...sounds like fun....wait....Miami is on the ocean no?...No marina? docks?Dang, just do the whole event in CGI and call it a day: F1: Why Miami Grand Prix ended up with fake marina, dry-docked yachts
The race is in a stadium parking lot ten miles inland.Awe it...sounds like fun....wait....Miami is on the ocean no?...No marina? docks?

I'm going into the weekend with an open mind... yet temporary courses like this have (for the most part) seldom been great.
F1 set the bar really high with Baku.
These slap dash courses are so gimmicky, and always too much of a random factor for me. Skill/ride should always be rewarded more than getting lucky over a crappy chunk of road. These cars are ground-effect tuned to the millimeter, bumpy asphalt is accidents waiting to happen.
That being said, my friend Pete is in Miami and I am way jealous.
It's going to be the same track for all the drivers/teams so I'm not critical about the setup. The cars are adjustable enough to be able to handle everything short of a motocross track.
I'm just celebrating having another F1 race in the US.![]()

Speaking of motocross, a long-time friend of mine went to the Doha race last year and she's not really a racing fan; it was just something to do after work. It's going to be the same track for all the drivers/teams so I'm not critical about the setup. The cars are adjustable enough to be able to handle everything short of a motocross track.
