Today, the Sky crew commented that Nico Hülkenberg is the frontrunner to grab Mick's seat at Haas. Fantastic skills... I really like the guy... but it is interesting he hasn't been a full-time driver since 2019 with Renault and he didn't have a single start last season.
Nyck De Vries looked solid subbing for Albon today. What stones that must take to jump in that car, knowing your F1 debut just got sped up, all with such short notice. And with all the grid penalties, he starts 8th tomorrow. He seemed like a good dude when Sky had him in the booth during one of the practice sessions recently. Good luck to that kid!
So who gets Latifi's seat at Williams? Ricciardo or Schumacher... or someone else?
Wonder if Colton Herta will end up with Gasly's seat at AlphaTauri. That's the one that seems really odd to me. Colton reminds me of Michael Andretti when he got his F1 ride in '93 -- talented, a little raw and way immature.
Alfa Romeo's lineup probably won't be changing for next season, but it is interesting that Zhou has finished higher than Bottas in the last three races.

Monaco will be on the F1 calendar through 2025.

I'd be stunned if Spa is ever removed from the F1 schedule as it's a masterpiece... tons of history... massively popular... high speeds... elevation changes... centrally located in Europe... it's got it all.

I think the cars have outgrown the track..Road
They should make a special smaller class of car..Just for Monaco...Make it interesting!
I don't know the details... but I'm only guessing it's not like Ham/Rosberg as theirs was fueled by competition and running up front.
My understanding is that they grew up racing together in France from carts on up and just don't get along very well. Could work one of two ways, as I see it, the antagonism pushes each of the drivers to new levels in trying to out do each other (IMO, this is what happened with Rosberg/Hamilton, although it was unsustainable) or they take each other out in the first lap in several of the first 5 races and things get progressively worse.
That said, these guys are professionals and should be able to make it work. How many of us have to get along with co-workers we don't like that well?
