found inside of a old amp

Yep! As an amp tech for the past 30 years, you can't believe the stuff I've found in amps:

used rubbers
unused rubbers
girls underwear
weed (lots!)
"white powder"
lots of different pills
girls phone numbers
guys phone numbers (probably given to the lead singer :p)
cigars (even a fully wrapped Cuban)
dead mice, squirrels, rats and more
vomit...several years ago, I got paid $500 to clean out an old Fender head that someone had vomited in and make sure it still worked....took it apart, sprayed down the chassis with Simple Green and douched it with a strong blast of clean water and dried it in the oven...worked great after and no bad smells...2 hours labor...ya gotta love it!
a thriving cockroach colony (that amp went into a large plastic trash bag and sent back to the owner unfixed)
a 380 semiauto pistol (loaded with one in the pipe)
a live .22 round being used as a fuse !
and of course, the ubiquitous picks, cables, strings and dust bunnies.
I've pretty much seen it all :eyebrow:

 indeed!

Not more expensive, but cheaper and more addictive drugs in order to (presumably) boost sales of ho-hum hemp to kids who don't know any better. :eyebrow: (It would be prudent to assume that other narcotics are also laced with meth for the same reason.)

FTR I smoked more than my share of pot for decades but I wouldn't want to now because it impairs my ability to do things which I currently enjoy more than just getting blasted.

(Besides, it's a ridiculous waste of money which drives a lot of modest income-earning steady smokers into becoming small-time dealers to finance their habit.)

I also quit drinking beverage alcohol and (more recently) smoking cigarettes as well.

Good riddance to wasting dough just to feel out-of-phase with one's health, reason, and reality. :spit:

From having some friends from the wrong side of town, I can tell you meth is such more expensive than weed. I'm sure some weed has been laced, but if anyone actually does that to try to hook customers, they are a total moron and losing alot of money.

Never heard of meth being used as an additive, but I have heard of PCP being used. However, whaddaya know, PCP is substantially more expensive and elusive than weed, so the final verdict of lacing being idiotic still rings true.

I'm with Jimmy & a cuppla others..... Smoke a bit when time is right.... Usually when our guitard brings one out ;-) But basically left that a few yrs ago...
As for Coke... AAggghhhh!! NO NO NO!!! Tried it once or 2x, but I don't like anything that makes my hands shake.
But a small smoke sometimes brings out some good riffs- a it always has..... :-)

ya, i've gotten weed from many dubious places, and it's never been laced. however, mark mothersbaugh of devo does tell a funny story about being in studio 54 with michael jackson and they shared a joint there and found out later it was laced with pcp. so it can happen. the likelihood of that is pretty rare, i would believe, though. rare enough that i wouldn't worry about it.

I hate to rain on the pot smokin' parade.......but over here in CA, the growers are using illegal pesticides for the product. Most of it is said to be exported back to Mexico, were it is being distributed to the rest of North America.

Mendocino County officials say they're determined to take back public lands from armed marijuana growers, with or without declaring a state of emergency requested by concerned citizens earlier this week.
